Intec specialises in the design and implementation of ‘in company’ development and assessment programmes using the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) and Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) framework.

An Intec assessor will work ‘one to one’ with individuals to assess their work against the relevant National Vocational
Standards. The assessment process results in a Portfolio of Evidence which reflects actual work performed on the job while reinforcing individual skills and competences.

Intec Assessors have first-hand experience of working within the industry and understand the problems faced by employers and employees. This means they are uniquely placed to respond to workplace needs and pressures.
S/NVQ programmes are integrated into the individual’s normal work activities and are delivered on-site to minimise inconvenience whilst maximising benefit.

Throughout the assessment process individuals are asked to identify factors critical to their job success. By developing individual awareness of these critical factors we encourage people to reflect on their own personal performance and to generate a culture of continuous work improvement.
